Astaxanthin, also known as astaxanthin and astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is a keto carotenoid, a terpene unsaturated compound, its chemical name is 3,3-dihydroxy-4,4-diketo-β,β-carotene, and its molecular formula is C40H52O4. The molecular mass is 596.86, and its chemical structure is a six-membered ring structure consisting of 4 isoprene units connected in the form of conjugated double bonds and 2 isoprene units at both ends.
